When the calendar overflows the constraints of our print paper, it's time to turn folks on to other options for weekend activities. ---

Tomorrow morning (Saturday, Jan. 7), Repertory Dance Theatre invites the public to sample its Community School dance-class slate in a "Dance All Day for Just $10" event. Beginning at 9 a.m. at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, open-house attendees will be able to participate in any or all of the five scheduled classes (Prime Movement 9 - 9:45, Ballet 9:45 - 10:30, Modern 10:30 - 11:15, African 11:15 - noon, Zumba noon - 12:45). Or dance free with the purchase of a 10-class punch card ($90, day of open house only).

The third season of the Bboy Federation breakdance battle series kicks off this weekend, with 3-man crews beginning the first of five battles over the course of five months. The event at the Murray Boys and Girls Club (244 E. Myrtle Ave. [5065 South]) is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 7 beginning at 7 p.m., with a $5 entry fee; music by DJ Scratchmo.

For a taste of edgy stand-up comedy, consider "Comedy With a Complex." Local comedians Collen Waters, Aja Sicks, Jason Harvey, Toy Soup and Cody Eden will be featured at The Complex on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 8:30 p.m., for an admission price of only $7. 21 and older only.
