Did you miss out on your chance to act in a Johnny Depp movie when Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End filmed here a few years back? The Lone Ranger is giving you a second chance. ---

Depp will be playing Tonto in director Gore Verbinski's scheduled updating of The Lone Ranger, with Armie Hammer (The Social Network, J. Edgar) playing the titular masked man. Location shooting will include Colorado and southern Utah, and an open-casting call is planned for Moab on Sunday, April 1 (no, that's not an April Fool's Day joke). Actors 18-years-old and older are invited to schedule a time online, and bring a current 3x5 photo (with no wigs, glasses or makeup) and a writing implement. You won't be the one who has to ask, "Who was that masked man?"
