Not sure what to do on a day like this? Well, you’re in the right spot. Glad You Asked is City Weekly’s daily, advice-dispensing, know-it-all events blog. It’s like Dear Abby, if she ever left her house and advised you to go somewhere other than counseling. ---We fear no level of boredom. Got a question about what to do today? Well, we're glad you asked...

Dear GYA; I’m at home right now on Chatroulette.com. I’ve decided I need to step away from the Internet for the rest of the day. What can I do that doesn’t involve me changing out of these sweatpants? -Ronald, Westminster College senior.

Ronald, there’s nothing you can’t do in sweatpants … except get jobs, of any form. Other than that, I think you’re good. I suggest checking out the Holotype exhibit at the Leonardo (209 E. 500 South, Salt Lake City). It’s a massive installment all about the wonders of algae and it’s going on all day today. It's a well-known fact that there's no dress code for algae.

Plus, later tonight you should check out Geeks Who Drink over at Maggie McGee’s (6243 S. Highland Drive, Holladay). It’s a free-to-enter trivia competition coupled with beer. You'll love it because there will be tons of Internet nerds in attendance. These questions are tough, so try to stay relatively sober.

But if you really want to fit in without changing your clothes, you should go see Korn at the Complex (536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City). Kill The Noise will be opening for the metal/dubstep crew, and tickets are $38 bucks at the door. On top of that, frontman Jonathan Davis will be performing a DJ set as his alter ego, J. Devil. Should be interesting, to say the least.

Other happenings today that may just tickle your fancy:

-Free screenings of Justified and American Horror Story @ Brewvies

-Dub reggae group SOJA @The Depot

-New York Times cartoonist, Carl Richards exhibit @The Kimball Art Center
