Dear GYA, Uh uh uh uh yeah guurl! My new #boyfriend track is off the hook! It's got everything: whisper rapping, an obnoxious hook, stupid sound effects and, of course, booom ... auto-tune. LOL, it's the perfect track. The only problem is I'm not getting any credit for writing this dope new single. Any suggestions? - Justin Bieber's bangs---
Bieber's bangs, I feel awful that you haven't received due credit for all of your hard work. Everyone knows that Justin would be nothing without your dominating presence on his face. He owes you one. I recommend having him take you out on the town today. For starters, head over to The House Gallery for Laura Sharp Wilson's showing of Full Steam Ahead.Originally from Puerto Rico, she's an all-mediums artist whose work has been described as "representing the challenges and intricacies of life." Her art is on display though March 31 and is free to the public.
Tonight at 6 p.m., the Westminster College Environmental Studies Department is hosting The Plastic Propaganda Poster Project in the Nightingale Hall. It's an art exhibition to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic consumption featuring work of students and local artists.
If you're in the mood for wallet chains and Airwalks, then don't miss Nada Surf at Urban Lounge tonight at 9 p.m.. They'll be busting out old classics like "Popular" and also showcasing some tracks off their new album The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy. Tickets are still available for $18 in advance or $20 at the door.
