We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you.

TV Tonight: Justified, Glee, Dream Machines

What’s new on the tube tonight:

Justified (FX) Season Finale: It’s the final showdown between Marshal Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) and Quarles (Neal McDonough)! Who’ll be left standing? ---As much as I’d love to see McDonough get a spin-off series all about his Oxy-chewin’ psychopath (working title: Big Stupid Baby Head), safe to say Raylan’s coming out on top—not so sure, however, about the rest of the cast (the episode is called "Slaughterhouse," after all). Come see the Justified shit go down one last time on the big screen at Brewvies Cinema Pub (677 S. 200 West; 21+) tonight at 8 p.m., totally free.

Glee (Fox) Return: Matthew Bomer (White Collar) guest-stars as Blaine’s famous-er brother, then the gang ruins some more beloved pop tunes. Welcome back, Glee!

Dream Machines (Syfy) Series Debut: A pair of Florida brothers build bizarre cars for people with way too much disposable income—like 50 Cent, in tonight’s premiere. Fiddy wants a jet car, so that’s gonna happen.
