Ringer (The CW) Season/Series Finale: Even though there are at least three idiotic series on ABC Family right now that make more sense than the similarly twin-plotted Ringer, ---Sarah Michelle Gellar’s dual-acting role of a lunchtime has somehow reached the 22-episode mark, which proves your show has to reach a truly spectacular level of suck to be canceled mid-run by The CW (Who else misses H8R? Besides Mario Lopez?). Will the stripper-junkie/socialite-snob sister-switcheroo/murder-whatever plot finally be resolved? Will subplot MILFs Jaime Murray and Andrea Roth make out again? Will Nestor “Bat Manuel” Carbonell just admit that this is the bottom of his career barrel, not The Tick? Will any of these people work again?
Raising Hope (Fox) Season Finale: Part 2 of the Season 2 finale, wherein Nancy Grace (Nancy Grace) continues her Inside Probe on the Chance family and proves herself to be quite the comedian. Too bad it’ll probably cost ‘em custody of li’l Hope—but don’t worry, the funniest series on Fox probably won’t return this fall as Raising No Child Because Nancy Grace Fucked It All Up.
The Daily Show With Jon Stewart (Comedy Central) Jon welcomes guest Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who’s pimping her great new HBO comedy Veep (premiering Sunday). Since it’s about the most profane HBO series since the late, great Deadwood, don’t expect a whole lotta clips.
