Criminal Minds (CBS) Even the best crime-procedural shows tend to repeat themselves after a while, and seven-season champ Criminal Minds is no different: ---“A copycat begins murdering women in the same Oklahoma town and in the same manner after an infamous serial killer is executed, and the BAU must move quickly before more people are killed,” sounds naggingly familiar (c’mon, CM reruns are on damned near 24 hours a day on A&E and Ion—I’ve seen this one, Hotch!), but here’s the twist: “Meanwhile, Prentiss (Paget Brewster) anxiously considers a large real estate purchase.” Since this is Brewster’s final season, again, sounds like a strong indicator that she won’t go out dead. Or she’ll be violently murdered in a fancy new house with her cats.
Best Friends Forever (NBC) … is not on tonight, because NBC has pulled the remaining two episodes of Season 1 to make way for a double-dose of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers. Yes, really. If you’re one of the promising-but-neglected comedy’s hundreds of viewers (not counting stars Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair), do the Save Our Show thing here.
