We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

TV Tonight: Criminal Minds, Suburgatory

What's new on the television device tonight:

Criminal Minds (CBS) Season Finale: In the two-hour Season 7 finale, the BAU team deals with a pair of bank-robbing serial killers (Tricia Helfer and Evan Jones) who’ve taken one of their own agent as a hostage--- (money’s on Reid—it’s always Reid). There’s also a wedding (probably JJ and Will), yet another dramatic exit (definitely Prentiss) and many a squinty, ponderous grimace from Hotch (best furrowed brow in the business).

Suburgatory (ABC) Season Finale: The ‘burb of Chatswin celebrates Mother’s Day a few days late—except for Tessa, who has no mom, and Dalia, who has no discernable human traits. Also, Lisa may be adopted. All this, and James Ingram! “Ya Mo Be There”!

Also new tonight:
The Middle, Modern Family, Don't Trust the B in Apt. 23, Revenge (ABC); Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, Rock Center With Brian Williams, Law & Order: SVU (NBC), American Idol (Fox); America's Next Top Model: British Invasion (The CW); Duck Dynasty (A&E); Toddlers & Tiaras (TLC); Ghost Hunters, Total Blackout (Syfy); Hot in Cleveland, Happily Divorced (TV Land); The Soup (E!)
