Glad You Asked: Tinariwen, TinTin and Park City

Dear GYA, I had such a crappy day yesterday. Like an idiot, I dropped my keys in a river of molten lava, and, of course, when I reach in to get 'em my freakin' hands burn off. To make matters worse, my buddy Obi Wan just stood there and watched me struggle to find the damned things.--- Anyway, I got this awesome new robot suit so, anything happening today? -Darth Vader

Darth, the poet Jack Handy once said, "If you ever drop your keys in a river of molten lava, let 'em go, because, man, they're gone." Truer words have never been spoken. Congratulations on the new suit! Here's what's happening today:

The Saharan musicians Tinariwen will be performing at The State Room tonight. The band first came together in a refugee camp, creating songs about human rights and suffering. Since then, Tinariwen has gained a massive following and has collaborated with groups like TV on the Radio.  No Nation Orchestra will be opening. The show starts at 8 p.m.

The Park City Farmers Market will be kicking off the produce season today at Canyon's Resort. Every Wednesday at noon, local farmers and artisans will be selling fresh veggies, baked goods, crafts and more. But the best thing about this farmers market is you can park your car down below and  take the cabriolet lift up to the market! It's so extreme.

Head to Hidden Valley Park for the free outdoor screening of The Adventures of TinTin. As part of the Movies in the Park series, this family-friendly event is free to the public. Popcorn and other movie snacks will be available for purchase, and blankets and chairs are recommended. The show starts at 9 p.m.

Other worthwhile events happening today:

- Brother Chunky's Big Variety Show is happening at the Deerhunter Pub, starting at 8 p.m.

- Disney's Aladdin: The New Stage Musical will be going down at Tuacahn Theatre, beginning at 8:45 p.m.

- If you're in Panguitch, check out the 12th Annual Quilt Walk, going all day today.
