We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you.

What’s new on the electronic dumber-downer tonight:

Royal Pains (USA) Season Premiere: When last we left Hamptons Doc, baby bro Evan had quit HankMed because of Hank’s unauthorized money-shuffling (but come on, it’s called HANKMed),--- leaving Hank and Divya to handle the biz themselves—yeah, they’ll probably be fine. Tonight, HankDiv rushes to save pretentious foodies poisoned at a local festival, while Evan starts a new venture. (Foodie burial plots? With Divya?)

Necessary Roughness (USA) Season Premiere: Callie Thorne returns as touchy-feely sports shrink Dani Santino! I know, I’m just as surprised as you are. Gatorade bottle half-full: At least Callie Thorne is still working—what’s the rest of the Rescue Me cast up to?

Adam Richman’s Best Sandwich in America (Travel) Series Debut: Adam Richman scours the USA in search of the nation’s best sandwich. Yeah, it’s almost as complicated to follow as Game of Thrones.

Also new tonight:
Dogs In the City (CBS); So You Think You Can Dance? (Fox); Melissa & Joey (ABC Family); America’s Best Dance Crew (MTV); Hot in Cleveland, Happily Divorced (TV Land); Haunted Collector (Syfy); E3 2012 (G4); Cajun Pawn Stars, American Restoration (History); White Heat (BBC America); The Soup (E!)
