We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Dear GYA, Am I mad that Quincy Jones said I wouldn't know a B flat if it hit me? Absolutely. If he thinks that Diddy don't know nothin' 'bout bra sizes, then Quincy don't know Diddy. Shoot, my knowledge is diversified when it comes to lady fashion -- I own my own clothing line, you know what I'm sayin? Anything happening today that can cheer me up? - Diddy---

Diddy, you magnificent idiot, it's unfortunate that Quincy Jones ripped you so badly. Here's what's happening tonight:

If you're in the mood for a little stand-up, then check out The Women of Utah Comedy at 5 Monkeys. This showcase will feature some of Utah's funniest leading ladies, like Melissa Merlot, Tashia Mower and Emily J, who will cover topics ranging from auto-correct drunk texting and telepathic breasts. The show starts at 8 p.m.

The Salt Lake Acting Company will be performing its ever-popular Saturday's Voyeur 2012 tonight. The always politically charged show rips on everything from Democrats in the LDS Church, Mormon girls who kiss Mormon girls, how to be a Latter-day Gay and so much more. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Head to Brewvies tonight for the 1st Annual Las Vegas Film Fest. For only 10 bucks at the door, Vegas fans can enjoy a double-feature screening of National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation and Swingers, a live performance from Daisy & The Moonshiners and gamble on some cool prizes via blackjack. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Other worthwhile events happening tonight:

- The Utah Museum of Fine Arts will be showcasing the American automobile series, Photo Finish all day today.

- To Kill a Mockingbird will be performed at the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City.

- Geeks Who Drink pub trivia will b happening at Lumpy's Downtown tonight at 8 p.m.
