Good news, '90s-music fans (aka, fans of awesome music): Garbage has rescheduled their SLC show, originally planned for April 27, to Friday, Oct. 5, at In the Venue.---

Concert promoters Postfontaine tweeted the happy news today. Tickets go on sale Saturday. Garbage has more info here.

The concert was postponed due to the ill health of guitarist/keyboardist Duke Erikson's mother. She passed away in June.

Since the original April 27 date, Garbage has released—on their own record label, Stunvolume—their fifth studio album, Not Your Kind of People, which debuted on No. 17 on the Billboard 200 list.
