The XX concert announced

Today, The XX announced new tour dates, including a stop in Salt Lake City, and released the first single, “Angels,” off their upcoming album -- listen to it here.---

After their acclaimed debut release in 2009, the band toured relentlessly, did a few remix projects (if you haven’t heard Jamie’s mix on Gil Scott-Heron, it is killer), built their own studio and got to work writing new material. Coexist (cover art above) drops on September 11.

Each ticket to this all-ages SLC stop on October 16 at The Complex comes with a digital download of the new album. Tickets, priced at $27.50, go on sale July 20 at 10 a.m. at 24Tix.com.
