We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

What’s new on the rectangle thang tonight:

The Inbetweeners (MTV) Series Debut: Surprise! MTV didn’t fuck up the ‘Mericanization of the beloved British comedy about terminally uncool high-schoolers! I know, right? ---It’s almost funny enough to make up for the terminally uncool cancellations of Warren the Ape and Death Valley … almost.

Bunheads (ABC Family) Season Finale: The weirdest new show of the summer concludes with a production of The Nutcracker, a surprise visit from the brother of the dead guy from Episode 1, and a whole lotta talking. Oh, and some of the teen side-drama that no one really cares about.

Also new tonight:
Stars Earn Stripes, Grimm (NBC); Bachelor Pad, The Glass House (ABC); Hotel Hell, Hell’s Kitchen (Fox); Remodeled (The CW); The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family); Pawn Stars (History); Intervention (A&E); Love & Hip-Hop, Single Ladies (VH1); The Real Housewives of New York City, Gallery Girls (Bravo); The Bad Girls Club: Mexico (Oxygen); Major Crimes, Perception (TNT); Warehouse 13, Alphas (Syfy); WWE Raw (USA)
