Dear GYA, I've dated lots of guys in my life and I truly cared for all of them -- that guy from Hoobastank, what's his name from Sum 41 and the foreign dude from That '70s Show -- they were all great. But I know deep in my heart that I've found my true love with what's his nuts from Nickelback.---Anything happening tonight to celebrate our big day? - Avril Lavigne

Avril, first off I want to say congratulations! But whatever you do, try not to interfere with creative flow of Nickelback. They're such an amazing band, we don't want another Yoko situation on our hands. Here's what's happening tonight:

Crosby, Stills & Nash will be performing at Red Butte Garden this evening. The legndary trio of crooners has been busy this year with tours internationally, as well as releasing a two CD/DVD set, 2012. This is your chance to see one of the greats. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

At Pioneer Park, M.Ward will be on stage for the Twilight Concert Series. The Portland native is known for his work with She and Him and Monsters of Funk. You may have recognized his cover of David Bowie's song "Let's Dance"  on the soundtrack of the 2007 New Zealand film Eagle vs Shark. DeVotchKa will be opening up. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Master teacher and spiritual author Anyen Rinpoche will be at Golden Braid Book this evening. He'll not only be reading and signing from his new book, Journeys to Certainty, but expect a  lecture on the sense of true reality that comes from meditation. The spiritual awakening begins at 6 p.m.

Other worthwhile events:

- The visual art of David Bradley is on display at Finch Lane & Park Galleries.

- Geeks Who Drink trivia will be going down at Lumpy's Downtown, starting at 8 p.m.

- Bourbon House will be hosting Spotlight Entertainment Karaoke this evening, beginning at 9 p.m.
