The only new entry at local bargain theaters finds British seniors trying to vacation on the cheap. ---

Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy and Tom Wilkinson are among the travelers in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel who visit a "resort" in India that's considerably less opulent than the marketing materials would lead them to believe. CW's MaryAnn Johanson wasn't enticed to stick around for the visit, calling it a "Breakfast Club of oldsters" that gets bogged down in "cliched predictability" despite the talented cast members.
