We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

Sundance 2013 Local Ticket Sales

With that first little whisper of fall now in the air, it's time to get ready for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. And for locals, that means your own special ticket-ordering schedule. ---

Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 18) through Oct. 10, Utahns get an exclusive chance to order passes and ticket packages before sales to the rest of the world are opened for the festival, scheduled next year for Jan. 17 - 27. Registering for a time slot gives locals an exclusive opportunity, beginning Oct. 12, to make those purchases of (among other options) Locals Quick Passes (for screenings at Salt Lake City and Ogden venues) or "B" passes (valid for screenings during the second half of the festival). Ticket packages include options of between 10 and 20 festival-screening tickets.

Locals also get a shot at the exclusive "Best of Fest" screenings at the end of the festival. But log on tomorrow to get rolling on the heart of Sundance.
