Dear GYA, Of course, Huffington Post had to come out with some stupid report about how we should retire the classic exit line, "Check, please." Well, excuuuuuuuuse me. But "Check, please" has been my go-to line since 1992. Now what am I supposed to say when I'm on a bad dinner date?--- Unbelievable. Anything happening tonight where this line is acceptable? -- Richard Lewis

Richard, "Check, please" is not out of fashion. What if you stop at diner while driving to Aspen in a sheepdog van and accidentally give some mobster rat poison instead of his ulcer medicine? "Check, please" is the perfect line. Here's a few things going down where you can probably pull it off:

The politically charged rap group Dead Prez will be performing at Urban Lounge tonight. Perhaps best known for their acclaimed 2000 release Let's Get Free, the album featured the hit "It's Bigger Than Hip Hop," which was Dave Chappelle's intro song on the Comedy Central spot The Chappelle Show. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastic Champions will be live at The Maverik Center tonight. As part of a 40-city tour, 10 of America's top Olympic gymnasts are putting on a show that's a fist-pumping mixture of athleticism and modern performance art. Expect at least one LMFAO song to be played. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Gray Wall Gallery will be hosting the new art installment Creepy Toy Show. It's a look at how toys of our youth mold and sculpt our imagination. Artists displaying their creepy toys are James Rezler, Craig Fisher, Timm Paxton, Tamara Fox, Stephen Pratt and Brittney Johnson. The exhibit is going on all day.

Other worthwhile events:

-  Geeks Who Drink Pub Trivia will be happening at Lumpys Downtown tonight, beginning at 8 p.m.

- Folk singer Talia Keys will be performing at Spurs Bar & Grill tonight at 9 p.m.

- Gov. Jon Hunstman will be the guest speaker at the Equality Utah’s 11th Annual Allies Dinner. This event is open to the public.
