Nat'l Taco Day @ Sonora Grill

Today - Thursday, Oct. 4th, 2012 - is National Taco Day (who decides these things, anyway?). So, Ogden's Sonora Grill is celebrating with $1.50 tacos all day. ---

Sonora's are some of the best tacos I've eaten around here, especially because they come with the restaurant's excellent homemade salsas. Normally, the tacos at Sonora Grill sell for around $11 to $14 for three tacos, depending on the fillings. So, a buck-and-a-half apiece is a damned-good deal.

Particularly delicious are Sonora's tacos al pastor, topped with grilled pineapple, onion, guacamole and cilantro. Spoon some of the killer red salsa made with morita peppers on top and say, "Ole!" to National Taco Day.
