Day of Debates Tuesday



Tuesday, listen to Salt Lake County Mayoral candidates exchange policy punches in the afternoon, and then in the evening, check out the Presidential foreign policy debate followed by a post-debate wrap up and discussion at the University of Utah.---

Democrat Ben McAdams and Republican Mark Crockett will challenge each other again over how to manage Salt Lake County, from issues of education, the county jail, the budget, incorporation, SkiLink and more.

Check the debate out as part of the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics’ “Decision 2012” series; Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the University of Utah, 260 S. Central Campus Drive, 2 p.m.-3 p.m.

Later in the evening, the Hinckley Institute will be airing the second Presidential debate, with analysis afterward by University of Utah political science professor Tim Chambless, as well Deseret News politics reporter Lisa Riley Roche.
