The Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office is taking appointments now for citizens looking to wax municipal with Mayor Ralph Becker next Wednesday, Oct. 24.---

Starting now, you can schedule a 10-minute window to meet with Mayor Becker and discuss anything related to city business, from parks and roads to recycling and trash pickup. You can be denied a meeting if you have pending legal issues with the city or if you’ve already participated in one of the meetings in the last six months.

The office also asks participants not to come seeking any political endorsement or to try and contest an issue already decided by a city department. To schedule an appointment, call 801-535-7704 or visit the office in person at the Salt Lake City-County Building, 451 S. State.
