Free turkeys available for low-income Utahns today



Crossroads Urban Center is giving Thanksgiving turkeys to 3,700 families today, until 3:30 this afternoon. The turkeys are available on a first-come, first-served basis.---

The turkeys will be distributed to low-income Utahns at the Urban Indian Center at 120 W. 1300 South. Call Crossroads at 801-364-7765 for more details.

The 47-year-old social-service agency operates an emergency food pantry throughout the year to assist Salt Lake City's hungry.
