Dear GYA, Now that the FrontRunner train goes all the way to Provo, I'm so excited to explore a whole new world. I hear there are new, fantastic points of view, unbelievable sights and indescribable feelings. Anything to do today now that I actually have a magic carpet ride out of Provo?- P. Jasmine, Provo ---
P. Jasmine, just be prepared for delays, and whatever you do, don't get caught riding dirty -- the fine is, like, 70 bucks. Anyway, now that you can explore the vast northern wilderness, here are some options for your day:
The Vancouver-based rap group Kyprios and The Chaperones will be onstage at Urban Lounge tonight. One of the founding members of the rap collective Sweatshop Union, Kyprios has worked with hip-hop heavy hitters like Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean and Rakim, to name just a few. The show starts at 9.
Get your black eyeliner ready because the American metal band Motionless in White will be performing at In The Venue/Club Sound this evening. The band is known for its dark, horror-based imagery and over-the-top Gothic appearance. Plus, they're from the most metal city in the country, Scranton, Pa.. The show starts at 7.
