We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

What’s new on the mind-number tonight:

Arrow (The CW) Winter Finale: When Oliver/Arrow finds out that the Queen family stopped celebrating Christmas after he disappeared, he decides to throw a holiday party—after he dispatches Starling City’s latest psycho villain, that is: a guy who’s killing the bastard people on Oliver’s father’s shit list … with arrows! Dude.---

Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 (ABC) Seven of them are: 50 Shades of Grey author E.L. James, Gov. Chris Christie, gymnast Gabby Douglas, Ben Affleck, Hillary Clinton, boy band One Direction and Seth MacFarlane, so you can just imagine how fucking awesome the final three will be. In other news: “Fascinating” is now as useless an adjective as “awesome.”

Also new tonight:
The Middle, The Neighbors, Modern Family (ABC); Survivor, Criminal Minds, CSI (CBS); Whitney, Guys With Kids, Take It All, Chicago Fire (NBC); The X Factor (Fox); WWE Main Event (Ion); Hot in Cleveland, Happily Divorced (TV Land); Amish Mafia, Moonshiners (Discovery); Shipping Wars (A&E); Deals From the Dark Side (Syfy); Top Chef, LOLWork (Bravo); The Soup, Love You Mean It With Whitney Cummings (E!); American Horror Story (FX)
