Indie-rock darlings The Shins return to Utah this spring, continuing to tour behind their excellent 2012 release, Port of Morrow.

In her review of The Shins’ show at Red Butte Garden last year, City Weekly copy editor Kolbie Stonehocker said that The Shins had an “ability to create an intimate venue in a large space through emotional performances.” The band also boasts epic, long lyrics and rich and varied instrumentation, as heard on classics in the indie rock canon like, “So Says I,” “Phantom Limb,” “Sea Legs” and the most recent single, “It’s Only Life.”
