We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Get Out of Town! Snowbird Easter Travel Deal

Do you have plans for Easter weekend? Snowbird has a deal for arrivals on March 29 or 30 that will make your holiday plans a breeze. For $299, two adults and two children can stay the night Saturday, start Sunday morning with a mountaintop Easter sunrise service, go hunt for Easter eggs then grab brunch at the Aerie or the Forklift. ---

The package includes spa access for the adults, and kids under age 12 ski for free, with adult lift tickets available for an additional charge.

Both the Aerie and the Forklift have special Easter brunch menus for Sunday. At the Aerie, try the honey-mustard thyme-baked ham or sweet-tea cured pork loin, or the lentil, roasted red pepper and cipollini onion salad for the vegetarian in the family. At the Forklift, more traditional breakfast fare prevails, with a Southwestern take on eggs Benedict, caramel walnut French toast, and savory bread pudding.
