Brighton's Silver Fork Lodge will be hosting a couple of fun April dinners coming up: one featuring Epic beer, and a wine dinner to help usher in spring. ---
On Thursday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m., Ty Eldridge of Epic Brewing Company will be on hand to talk about Epic beers during a five-course beer-pairing dinner. The cost is $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity, or $25 for dinner without the beer pairings.
And then, on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m., Dan and the rest of the Silver Fork gang will host a five-course spring wine-pairing dinner. With spring (and maybe swimsuit season) in mind, each wine was expertly selected for its lighter qualities. One example from the five-course wine-pairing menu is spring pea soup topped with a goat cheese crouton, paired with 2011 Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc (which just happens to be one of my favorite Sauvignon Blancs).
Mike Szczesny of Young's Market Utah will be on hand to answer questions about the wine pairings. The dinner is $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity, or $25 for dinner without the wine pairings.
Silver Fork Lodge is also offering accommodations, starting at $90 per night, plus tax, which includes breakfast for two.
