Glad You Asked: Richie Spice, Junior Brown and The Flobots | Buzz Blog
We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Glad You Asked: Richie Spice, Junior Brown and The Flobots

Dear GYA, Whoa, I can't believe that Angelina Jolie got a preemptive double vasectomy! That had to hurt terribly. But you know, celebrities are always setting the trends when it comes to complicated, must-have medical procedures. It makes me think that maybe I should get one. Hmm, anything happening today after I get a preemptive double vasectomy? - Rachel Frank, Taylorsville---

Rachel, If you're able to get a double vasectomy, I highly recommend it after a certain age. My Dad got a triple vasectomy immediately after I was born. Anyway, after you're done with your procedure, here's what's up for today:

Jamaican reggae legend Richie Spice will be onstage at Park City Live. The Patwa Reggae Band and Roots Rawka are also on the bill. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are free!

Colorado-based rock/hip-hop group The Flobots will be at Kilby Court this evening. Scenic Byway and Burnell Washburn open up. The show starts at 8. Tickets are $20. This show is all ages.

Country-rock badass Junior Brown will be performing at The State Room. The Hollering Pines are also on the bill. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $23.
