Dear GYA, I just learned that Salt Lake City might be hosting a Running With The Bulls Festival in 2014. Great. I can see it now, thousands of people clogging up our streets for a day, running around like damned idiots and probably injuring themselves in the process. Wake up, morons, running With bulls is idiotic. Anything happening today after I complete this marathon? - Wendy Robuline, Rose Park---

Wendy, Putting yourself in front of stampeding bulls is certainly stupid. But, one could argue that running around in a big circle for no reason is also pretty stupid. Your best bet is to not use your legs at all. Here's what's up for today:

The Broadway Theater is hosting its Summer Chills Hitchcock Retrospective this evening. Tonight's films are The Birds, Psycho and Rope. The show starts at 8. Admission is free.

Minnesota-based metal band Castle will be at Metro Bar tonight.  Visigoths, Merlin's Beard and Chainwhip are also on the bill. The show starts at 8. Tickets are $10.

Dave Matthews Band will be at USANA Amphitheater tonight. The Heart and The Head will open things up. The show begins at 7. Tickets start $20.
