Rockabilly Suicide-Prevention Show Friday in SLC

The conscientious pin-up afficionados of Dolls and Gents are holding a rockabilly fundraiser and benefit this Friday to raise funds for suicide prevention in Utah. Enjoy tunes, booze and burlesque for a good cause.---

A $5 ticket will get you into "Rockabilly Night" at the Metro Bar to enjoy drink specials and the burlesque beauties Candy Cabinet Cabernet, Brawling Beauty and Virginia Storm. There will also be a kissing booth, pin-up contest with prizes, as well as the musical stylings of bands Moon Shark, Swank Mortem and the Wolf Gang.

Proceeds will go to support The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Check it out at the Metro Bar, 540 W. 200 South, Friday Aug. 30, 9 p.m.
