At the end of October, Utah's HQO barbecue team will head to Lynchburg, Tenn., to compete in the 2013 Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue. But, they'll need funds to get there. --- 

So, to offset some of the expenses, Great Western BBQ Events, Utah BBQ Judges and the Utah BBQ Association are holding a fundraiser, Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Mark Miller Subaru: 3535 South State Street, SLC. 

HQO will be selling prepaid pork butts and racks of ribs at Mark Miller Subaru to barbecue lovers who place orders in advance via PayPal. It would be a great way to supply your next tailgate party without having to do the cooking yourself.
