Dear GYA, Yes, the rumors are true -- I just signed on to star in the 2015 earthquake thriller, San Andreas. Why, you ask? Well, how could I say no to a script this good?! Check it out: In a last-ditch effort to save California from complete destruction, The Rock faces off with a giant, evil, earthquake monster called The Rock. Eh? Anything happening today better than total rock-on-rock action? - Dwayne Jonson---

Dwayne, Congratulations, this film sounds very deep and moving. I'll bet the earthquake monster is some kinda complicated metaphor for California's lost innocence. Here's what's up for today:

Portland-based rock band Red Fang will be at Urban Lounge this evening. Helms Alee and Gaytheist will open up. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $15.

Swedish psychedelic-folk band Junip will be onstage at The State Room. Barbarossa is also performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25. Breaking Bad fans might remember this track from the series finale:

Chrome Sparks will be performing at Bar Deluxe tonight. The show starts at 8. Tickets are $10.
