Dear GYA, Whenever I see a pumpkin, or I'm within a 50-ft. radius of anything that resembles a pumpkin, something swells up inside of me and I'm overcome with an overwhelming sense of rage that can only be satisfied by putting my foot through a big, stupid, orange gourd. In case you're wondering, I'm a grown man who pays his taxes.---Anything happening today after I go on a smashing spree? - Mark Grumbling, pumpkin murderer

Mark, I feel the same way with pumpkin lattes. Whenever I see one, I just want to destroy it.  Here's what's up for today:

Brooklyn-based indie-dance band Rubblebucket will be at Urban Lounge this evening. The Brocks are also on the bill. The doors open at 8. Tickets are $12.

Tonight is Film Buff Night at Brewvies, which means you can see the Halloween classic Poltergeist for free on the big screen, starting at 10.

For those of you who enjoy sweeping ice, check out Cosmic Curling at the Utah Olympic Oval, beginning at 8 p.m. Admission is $7.
