Seduced & Abandoned (HBO) Special: Arguably crazy actor Alec Baldwin and certifiably crazy director James Toback troll the Cannes Film Festival begging for financing for their film project Last Tango in Tikrit, inspired by Last Tango in Paris, but set in equally romantic Iraq. ---Yes, Seduced & Abandoned (referring to Hollywood’s woo ‘em in, spit ‘em out mentality) is a joke, but a pretty good one—and mostly at the expense of biz power-players, directors and actors who are maybe a little too self-important to get it.
