Dear GYA, Office log: Morale is high, as the men of  KZ And Associates begin to grow their annual mustaches for Movember. I have to admit, it's been a rough, first couple of days, as we are now entering the "dirt-stache" phase. It's OK, thoug;, I have confidence that soon I'll be able to look Frank from sales in the eye instead of his weird, crusty, speckled upper-lip.--- Anything happening today suitable for half-grown Movemeber-staches? - Jennifer Marcelli, Draper

Jennifer, This is by far the worst time of the year for mustache development. But don't worry -- by Thanksgiving, we should have a bountiful stache-harvest. Here's what's up for today:

American electroni-core band I See Stars will be onstage at In The Venue this evening. The Word Alive, Get Scared, Dayshell, Palisades and Crown the Empire are also on the bill. The show starts at 6. Tickets are $20.

Southern-rock jam-band Gov't Mule will be at The Depot tonight. The show starts at 8. Tickets are $31.

It's Film Buff Night at Brewvies, which means you can watch the 1992 classic Army of Darkness for free on the big screen, starting at 10.

The Sun & Moon Cafe in Emigration Canyon features The Nick Moss Band, straight from Chicago; show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $20/ reservations only.
