We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

What’s new on the box(es) tonight:

Mike & Molly (CBS) Season Premiere: Since the new We Are Men was canceled after a blazing two-week run last month, good ol’ laugh-tracked sitcom Mike & Molly has been called off the bench—presumably wheezing because, you know, they’re fat (hit the “Laugh” button). ---How genuinely funny actors like Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell (as well as Katie Mixon, Swoosie Kurtz, Reno Wilson, et al.) can make such a genuinely unfunny series is a testament to the played-out “genius” of producer Chuck Lorre. But, hey, back another truckload of money up to his door, CBS …

Also new tonight:

How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Mom, Hostages (CBS)

Bones, Sleepy Hollow (Fox)

The Voice, The Blacklist (NBC)

Dancing With the Stars, Castle (ABC)

Hart of Dixie, Beauty & The Beast (The CW)

WWE Raw (USA)

Teen Mom 3 (MTV)

The Real Housewives of Miami, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules (Bravo)
