Moonshiners (Discovery) Season Premiere: ‘Merica has spoken, and it wants more “reality” shows about rednecks and the redneck shit what they do—and here’s Season 3 (yes, 3) of Moonshiners, which is essentially Duck Dynasty without the philosophical introspection. ---Counters the once-educational Discovery Channel, “Moonshiners shares the stories of the men and women who keep tradition alive, and make a fortune in the process, distilling illegal whiskey in the backwoods of their respective territories.” Riiight. So, who’s making the fortune here, Discovery?
Trophy Wife (ABC) Still On: Last week, I predicted that the Halloween episode of the very funny and very unwatched Trophy Wife would likely be the last you ever see of it. Color me wrong: ABC has picked the comedy up for a full season! Now it’s up to you to watch harder, already.
