Glad You Asked: Lissie, Green Day and Sons of Anarchy | Buzz Blog
We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Dear GYA, Cyber Monday was a huge success. Sure, I may have a horrible rash and my right arm is sore as hell, but Cyber Monday is that one magical day where it's totally cool to stay up all night, cybering with chicks, dudes, whatever--it's bananas. Anything to do tonight after a long, hard day of cybering? - Josh Fapper, Murray---

Josh, I suppose Cyber Monday has a different meaning for everyone. No judgement from this guy -- different strokes for different folks. Here's what's up for today:

Indie-folk singer Lissie will be onstage at Urban Lounge this evening. The Kopecky Family Band is also on the bill. The show starts at 8. Tickets are $20 at the door.

The Broadway hit Green Day's American Idiot will be going down at Kingsbury Hall. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 to $57.50.

City Weekly, True TV and Brewvies will be showing the latest episode of FX's Sons of Anarchy, for free, on the big screen! The show starts at 8 p.m.
