Dear GYA, It looks like the Pope finally got rid of his Harley. For a little back story on his biker days, here's an excerpt from his memoirs: "He was a Pope, and good at his job. But he committed the ultimate sin—and testified against other Popes gone bad. Popes that tried to kill him, but got the woman he loved instead. Framed for murder, now he prowls the badlands ... an outlaw hunting outlaws ... a bounty hunter ... a RENEGADE ... Pope."--- Well, it's the end of an era. Anything happening today more badass than a Pope on a Harley? - Ray Shwaming, Magna

Ray, this sounds like the intro to the 90s television show Renegade starring Lorenzo Lamas, but I completely understand why the Pope decided to retire from the biker life. Here's what's up for today:

Indie-punk band The Front Bottoms will be at In The Venue tonight. You Blew It! and The Wild are also on the bill. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $14.

Brick Squad rapper Waka Flocka Flame, aka Wakaveli aka Fozie Bear will be on stage at Urban Lounge tonight. DJ Juggy and Concise Kilgore will provide local support. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Calmosa and Bobby Meader will be at Shred Shed. Great Interstate, Amahlia and Murder Mystery Party are also performing. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $7.
