Glad You Asked: Nets, Tarrus Riley & Koala Temple | Buzz Blog
We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Dear GYA, Yeah, it was little disappointing to discover that Hot Pockets may have diseased animal meat in 'em. But look on the bright side, at least we now know for certain that Hot Pockets contain real animal meat and not uh, you know, human meat. --- It gives me some comfort to know that when I get sick to my stomach it's from something somewhat natural. Anything happening today as great as a Hot Pocket? - Jimbo Warpler, The Avenues

Jimbo, Hot Pockets are one of those things where the less you know, the better. Here's what's up for tonight:

The Utah Jazz will be taking on the Brooklyn Nets tonight at EnergySolutions Arena. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $7.75.

Reggae legend Tarrus Riley will be at Park City Live tonight. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Local band Koala Temple will be on stage at Urban Lounge this evening. Breakers, Red Telephone and 90's Television are also on the bill. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets at $5.
