Dear GYA, According to Utah's Spotify listening preferences,we love the musical stylings of Awolnation. So, at the risk of not being into young, hip and popular music, I better start listening to this cutting edge rock band called... Awolnation. Am I saying that right? Also, what is an Awolnation? And more importantly, what is a Spotify? Anything as awesome as Awolnation happening in Utah tonight? - Bill Washturtle, Murray ---

The City Weekly CWMA Open-Format DJ Spin-Off is going down at Zest Kitchen & Bar tonight. Justin Godina, DJ Bentley, DJ Battleship, Handsome Hands and DJ Matty Mo will be competing for the City Weekly DJ of The Year of the award. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $6. 

The Utah Jazz are taking on the Phoenix Suns tonight at EnergySolutions Arena. Tip-Offs is at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $7.75.

Electro-industrial band Skinny Puppy will be on stage at Lo-Fi Cafe this evening. Army of The Universe is also performing. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.
