Nothing makes for a peaceful moment of harmony like joining the Liberty Park Drum Circle, that is except for armed robbery. The Salt Lake City Police Department reported three suspects, including one armed with a small black handgun did just that by robbing several juveniles following the drum circle on Sunday, April 20.---
The SLCPD reported that an undisclosed numbers of victims were talking to three men following the Liberty Park (600 E. 900 South) drum circle Sunday when one of the men brandished a handgun and robbed the juveniles of their cell phones and wallets.
The armed suspect is described as Hispanic juvenile in a light grey-hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as Hispanic juvenile of thin build, wearing a black and red Michael Jordan jersey and a Chicago Bulls Hat. The third suspect was also a juvenile Hispanic of thin build wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
After the strong-arm robbery the suspects fled eastbound.
