Glad You Asked: Mobb Deep, Ravens & Rags | Buzz Blog
We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Dear GYA, As a gun-slinging, Tea Party loving, land owning, anti-government, pro-slavery, white male dingleberry I fully endorse Cliven Bundy and his stand against the federal government. So what if he doesn't know jack shit about the law or if "his land" is actually owned by the feds, he's got the guns... and the cowboy hat.--- He's an American patriot. Anything happening today as cool as Cliven Bundy? - Blake Steele, Sandy

Blake, it's entertaining to think there's actually a human being out there that thinks it's his right to use federal land to feed his cows and not pay for it. It amuses me to no end.  Here's what's going on today:

The infamous Mobb Deep will be at Urban Lounge tonight. Concise Kilgore and DJ Juggy will open up. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Indie band The Raven and The Writing Desk will be at Bar Deluxe this evening. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $7.

Rock band Rags and Ribbons will be at Kilby Court. Cade Walker is also on the bill. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10.
