You at least to have to hand it to this progressive burglar of Salt Lake City for using an eco-friendly bicycle for a getaway vehicle and for wearing an extra-safe mountain bike helmet in commission of breaking into a downtown coffee shop.---

The Salt Lake City Police Department have released a video of a suspected serial burglar who appears to have used the same M.O in multiple instances-- breaking a store window with a rock and then stealing iPads from the businesses. The suspect in this case appears to ride up on a mountain bike from the south to Raw Bean, 611 S. West Temple from a parking lot east of the business.

He arrives at 1:08 a.m. Saturday April 19 cases the place until 1:29 when he breaks a window with a rock, enters and steals an iPad attached to the cash register and is out within 45 seconds.

The video shows the suspect, a white male 25 to 30 years of age, wearing a blue or dark-colored long-sleeved shirt, khaki shorts, white socks and white Nike shoes enter and take the iPad. The footage doesn't show the getaway which means that since he didn't approach the shop with a bag or backpack he may have left the scene on his bicycle while still holding the iPad.

If you may have been leaving a bar after last call and saw the man on the bike with khaki shorts or saw him leaving later on a bike while carrying an iPad the Salt Lake City Police Department would appreciate your help with any information.
