Glad You Asked: Childish Gambino, Sea Wolf & Matty Mo | Buzz Blog
We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Dear GYA, Of course I'm upset that the NBA is forcing me out of my own damn franchise. It's garbage. Have you ever read the first amendment? Well, if you have you'd know it clearly says "rich white guys can say a bunch of offensive stuff and everyone, even the private sector, has to deal with it." Anything happening today now that I'm banned from the NBA? - David Sterling---

David,  "Freedom of Speech" applies to government action, not private entities. If you have any more questions, feel free to refer to that dickhead from Duck Dynasty. Here's what's going down today...

Rapper and actor Childish Gambino will be at The Complex this evening. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30.

Indie-folk band Sea Wolf will be at Urban Lounge tonight. Sayde Price is also on the bill. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.

City Weekly's 2014 CWMA DJ of The Year Matty Mo will be performing at Willie's Lounge. The music starts at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free!
