La Roux's Trouble in Paradise

Happy Tuesday, music fans. OK, technically, The Black Angels' Clear Lake Forest EP—made up of tracks that didn't make the cut for the Austin, Texas, psych-rock outfit's 2013 LP, Indigo Meadow—isn't entirely new; it got a limited release on Record Store Day. But now it's been reissued, so everyone can give it a listen.

This week's new releases also include Trouble in Paradise, La Roux's first album since the British synth-pop duo became the solo project of band member Elly Jackson; rapper Common's Nobody's Smiling, dedicated to his hometown of Chicago; When I Was Younger, the debut full-length album from Nashville, Tenn., indie-rock trio Colony House; and Canadian indie-rock band PS I Love You's third album, For Those Who Stay.
