Happy Tuesday, music fans. My favorite new album coming out this week is probably the latest from Montreal, Canada-based singer-songwriter Cold Specks. Titled
Neuroplasticity, it's really eerie and sucks you right in—and Cold Specks' voice is truly somethin' else. Also out this week is new stuff from Canadian indie-rock "supergroup" The New Pornographers, Bay Area garage-rocker Ty Segall, New York experimental/shoegaze outfit Cymbals Eat Guitars and English troubadour Robyn Hitchcock.
