You can still enjoy Dropkick Murphys even though it's not St. Patrick's Day

Dear GYA, I'll admit, I'm the kind of guy who doesn't mind throwing on a few Christmas tunes in July. Hell, I could listen to "All I want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey any time of the year. With that being said, I'm thinking about going to the Dropkick Murpheys show tonight at The Complex. But I was wondering, is it weird to listen to St. Patrick's Day music in September? Should I wear green? - Gary Kristule, Sandy

Gary, there's nothing wrong with a little Dropkick Murphys in September and yes, you should wear green. In fact, you should dress up like a leprechaun. Here's the details:

Celtic-punk band The Dropkick Murphys will be at The Complex tonight. Blood or Whiskey and Bryan McPherson are also performing. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $27.50

Here's a couple other solid options for tonight:

California-based indie band Gardens & Villa will be at The Urban Lounge this evening. Sandy Alex G is also on the bill. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Grammy-winning R&B singer Macy Gray will be at The Depot. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30.
