Dear GYA, Every year around this time, Christmas rock fans have the same old, tired debate over who rocks Christmas the hardest, Manheim Steamroller or Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I'll be honest, when I go to a Manheim show, sure, my bells are certainly jingled. But when I leave a Trans-Siberian show, I'm filled with so much hardcore Kringle my turtleneck smells like egg nog. - Han Schellers, Salt Lake City

Han, tell me about it. TSO rocks so damn hard, it's not even a debate. Here's the details for tonight's show:

Christmas rock legends Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be at EnergySolutions this evening. There's two shows, one at 4 p.m. and another at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $39.

A couple non-Christmas options:

Art rock band Mr. Gnome will be at Urban Lounge tonight. Young Tongue and Big Wild Wings are also performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12.

Guitar god Todd Rundgren will be at The State Room. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $55.
