On Tuesday, December 2nd, Park City's award-winning Silver Star Cafe will host winemaker Kent Fortner for a unique wine dinner featuring his Road 31 wines paired with new menu items from chef Jeremy Martin.

The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a welcome social featuring local cheeses and sparkling wine.

The dinner menu and wine pairings looks like this:

Braised pork belly with white beans, caramelized apples, Carolina BBQ sauce + Poseidon Vineyard Chardonnay, Carneros, 2013

Duck Confit Carbonara with house-made pasta, eggs, cream & Parmesan + Road 31 Pinot Noir, Napa Valley 2012

Short Rib "Bourguignon" with whipped potatoes, onions, mushrooms, carrots and Cabernet gravy + Obsidian Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2011

House-made dessert trio

Kent Fortner is a very entertaining and knowledge winemaker and he'll talk about the wines, winemaking, and his career in wine during the evening.

The cost for the Road 31 wine dinner with wine pairings is $75 per person, plus tax and gratuity. This should be a fun one!
